MORE ABOUT ME

My name is River Byrn. I’m a sophomore at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. I am majoring in Photojournalism with a minor in broadcasting. My passion for photography started with wanting to document everything in my family's life. Photography gives me a place to escape when I’m ecstatic or when I'm having a not-so-good day. In the good and bad experiences I have had throughout my life, photography has inspired me to live in the moment, and that it is also okay to capture special moments and reminisce on them. I have developed a great love for film. Since attending Governor's School for the Arts for Film & Photography. Being able to learn and creatively share experiences people have gone through makes me so happy. It makes them feel seen and heard which is something I strive to do for everyone I come across. I currently plan on continuing to pursue and learn more about this art form.
